That seriously would be depressing. We need a fresh start next season. Kelly signing even on reduced terms would be a retrograde step. So you'd assume that whatever we paid for him was less than £542k and in all probability less than we paid for Spencer. Anyway, I'm away to watch AVFTT now. As Kelly is combined with a number of other payouts in that financial year, it can't be more surely? Will be interesting to see if Ketts is as ruthless with guys he brought to the club as we was with other managers players this summer. *Just checked £300k in 1994 is £610k today.
