Remarkably, each of those things makes it even more of a farce than the actual concept itself. An absolute disgrace. Clyde will lose more than 300 fans when we're playing either of these sides. Heard it aswell i think cosgrove was trying to get a reaction. If any chairman votes for that shite they can f**k off
peternapper
Spoiler Have said all along that this was the goal of a few clubs with no regard for existing league clubs, I cannot accept that any team has the right to have more than one team competing in the league structure. When buying my season ticket for this season spoke to the chairman & left no doubt that if the club supported any move to allow colt teams into the league I would no longer be supporting the club, if the league is made a plaything for a few clubs to have their way then I would consider looking to junior football to follow instead. This whole carry on needs to be ditched if clubs want to use surplus players in their squads go back to a reserve league as they are basically saying the development league does nothing for player development.
GordonD
I must have missed the part where all the other Premiership clubs were offered the chance to enter their Colts sides in League Two...
Doonhamer doon south
An utter shambles and a joke of an idea. Why straight into league 2 anyway why not in SOS league as that is the lowest rung of the pyramid. The idea stinks get it binned.

Cowden Cowboy
I must have missed the part where all the other Premiership clubs were offered the chance to enter their Colts sides in League Two... All 42 SPFL clubs were asked if they were interested in doing so

Fat Sally
Old Firm Colts will be in the Lowland League next season. No need for an SPFL vote. It's a done deal.

haufdaft
will play all of their games away from home and money corresponding to 300 paying customers will be paid to teams for each game. So all the match day expenses fall onto the opposition. Given the reluctance of many to watch these games, payments for 300 might not even cover expenses. Who pays for the 300? The old firm or the SPFL (our own clubs)?

HibeeJibee
Setting aside the fundamental issue of 'B' teams being allowed at all, why should they start part-way up? There's numerous clubs in Highland & Lowland desperate to get into SPFL2 - plenty in East & South trying to get into LL (and joining at bottom e.g. Kelty). Why OF? Why should 'B' teams be allowed not to have home grounds? Where would Rangers 'B' v Celtic 'B' / Celtic 'B' v Rangers 'B' be played? What happens if finish top 4 in SPFL2? Will it mean playing 3x - i.e. 33-game season? Edited November 5, 2017 by HibeeJibee
AllyMonc
If it's a 12 team league will there be a split? So if Old Firm B teams are in the top half that means everyone else is guaranteed a playoff spot at min (assuming if they can't go up then they can't be in a playoff). Or are we playing 3x each and the inherent issues that brings?Do we play them just twice and everyone else 4x?Or maybe we should invest in facilities, train more coaches so that every level and all across the land kids are getting taught properly. Maybe if the Old Firm are so desperate to produce elite players they should make use of the existing development loans and then when the physical development is done trust them as part of the match day squad.
Enigma
Hope people protest this. Try and get matched abandoned against these teams etc.
