"The establishment of a Conference league bringing the best of the Lowland and Highland League together is to be welcomed as it provides a better “destination” for clubs exiting the SPFL. " 4 B-teams and 6 first teams including playing the B-teams in 16/36 matches is a better destination than the Highland or Lowland League? Strange take on it.

Spyro
Tbh Clyde are no more than a parody and been stinking out the place for too long now. A nothingness that BSC can only aspire to...

No surprise that a club with very little in the way of morals or awareness are trying to steer their fans in the direction of voting for this drivel.

Ray Patterson
Have it around 32/90 clubs that are either against or have ongoing fan consultations. Definitely still winnable for the Good Guys

Non-SPFL full members are around half the potential votes. If they vote overwhelmingly No, this can definitely be defeated even with only the SPFL clubs to publicly come out as No voters so far.

I think this is a bit unfair, this is a general point about a national 5th tier rather than this specific proposed division. Even their statement, as mewling as it was, criticised the specific planned make-up of the division.
Sparticus
A homeless club isnt really a club. They just go around from lodging to lodging year after year slowly losing life and supporters until they eventually find the new homeless level league playing against public park teams. We need a pointless/made up club list. Would Clyde be on it now?

Clearly their officials are cosily nesting in the OF pocket, but many of their fans aren't happy. Twitter is often not a representative sample, but I hope this is.

As a 'fan owned club' it is incumbent on them to empty all the board representatives who signed off on that snivelling nonsense at the next available opportunity though. Distancing yourself on Twitter is not enough. Edited May 31, 2023 by vikingTON
