What is veldman’s issue with Robson. The guy was excellent and took him off for a 17 year old who cost us last match. Let a cross over him in the dying minutes, absolutely nonsense from Veldman

Taking Thomson off as well. One of our most composed heads. He’s thrown the young kids under a bus there. All on him.

Robbery if we get a result there tbh, but to be in that position and make those decisions is fucking mind boggling.

Totally agree. He threw the young guys under the bus (particularly Bruce) but we showed a sign of resilience about us from 10 men. Most teams would fold at that point and Longridge made a big difference. Taking Thomas off straight after scoring, one of the few guys in the championship who can make a goal out of nothing is sheer madness

To be fair, we more or less made it for him. Incredible defending.

Going in to today expected us to lose and for most of the game that opinion was unchanged but not going to deny I’m a seething mess right now.

Fair play to Raith for coming back to win but having somehow got ourselves into a winning position, the substitutions Veldman made were absolutely appalling.

I’ll say it again. Every single one of you shut your puss. Would not doubt this team’s determination one bit. What an afternoon. RRFC.

Not sure it's a perceived lack of determination that drives supporters to dismay, and dismayed comments, so much as flinging in an equaliser for them then going behind. We can't keep going on saying we'll score one more than you.

Can we?

that’s fair enough but he’s the only guy in attack that can bring the ball into the final third and create something out of nothing if we were to hit the counter. Cannot believe how naive Veldman was. It was borderline arrogance

Mckenna is incredible in goals, fantastic once again. Fair play to Thomson who was superb at the back once Tizzard was sent off

We’ve got a very competitive first 11 who can compete top half of the championship but there has to be at least 2 additions added to make us competitive for 90 minutes. Subs are an incredible downgrade

Chaos game that.

Negatives, I’m a massive McGill fan but you don’t leave Dick on the bench. Whilst the long ball was intentional due to how far QP pushed up it just led to them having far too much of the possession. The formation / game plan just felt off.
KD, that was up there with one of the worst things I’ve seen at Starks. I’ve said before his issue is hesitancy..and boy whit was that? Not a catch, not a punch just some massive flap. Scandalous defending for their second.

Postives, Stanton, the boy is just class. Lewi, absolute Rovers legend and stepped up when needed. The overall never say die this team has got is a delight to see, rescued points now against Partick, Morton and QP.

Big dilemma IM has now on selection. Vaughan will feel he’s to start. Ethan Ross has been influential when coming on. Mullins delivery is class, Smith can’t be dropped currently. Easton and Gullan on  the bench, Connolly back next week - don’t envy that decision.

Jack needs to find his scoring boots.

Crazy Rovers team currently. We create oodles of chances and continually gift 2 goals. The punters are getting their moneys worth and another terrific home crowd.

First half I thought Rovers were dominant. Anyone who thinks QP were especially dangerous never watched us last year and how teams nullified us. We let them play pretty patterns in front of us, defended the 18 yard line and never let them in behind. A professional set up. Meanwhile, we exploited their naively high back line time after time. Scored a good goal from a simple ball over the top, wide. Should have got a se one and forced the defender into the foul for the red card.

Started to unravel with the first sub though, Hamilton had been occupying their CBs and stayed nice and central. Gullen kept drifting around the pitch and we lost a focal point and really lost the impact of the man advantage. Should still have scored in that period before two absolute gifts. While I'd argue that our first goal came from a systemic issue with QPs set up, their two come down to sheer individual ineptitude.

Nothing more complex to that first goal than a sheer f**k up. Should have been a simple catch from a nothing ball.  For the second, 3 Rovers defenders must have taken swipes at the ball and totally failed to kick it the length of themselves.

Thought QP had us at that point.  Subs obviously saved us. Easton did well around the box, keeping the ball alive and thank f**k for Lewis Vaughan. Two proper striker finishes.

QP play a good possession game, have a lit of pace in their side - feel like they are set up quite naively and it should never really have been a contest. I guess I have to concede that Rovers showed good resilience and more importantly played well in front of goal at least to get the goals.

Fucking hell though.

Hope some of you who posted during the match are feeling rather silly now.

Don't get the criticism for the manager some were giving out. Stuck with the team who won at the KDM last week and our first half performance was excellent. Lost our way for a bit at start of 2nd half which in my opinion was due to Hamilton going off for Gullan. Even though Hamilton hasn't been great we look much better when he is on the pitch. Players showed great determination and character yet again to stick in and get the win which i think we deserved in the end. This time last year you could have written us off at 1-2 down but we are a different animal this season it seems.

First half even before the red card we were cutting QP open with ease with ball over the top and should of been out of sight.

We really seemed to drop a gear in the 2nd half and didn't get our intensity back until Easton came on. It was deeply frustrating to watch given how much we had been in control of thr match.

Great 3 points and determination to get back into the match. Given we have the cup game next week the likes of Ross, Easton and Vaughan will be pushing for a start.

Both teams at points managed to try and throw that game away with some very poor decision making. It felt that Rovers thought they were comfortable with 1-0 at times and made the wrong decision each time they got through on goal (and some good saves from McKenna). More poor decisions for the two Queens goals, first, Kev decided against clearing everything out, in a situation like that, get the ball and wipe anyone out in front of you, own player or opposition. Don't care if it means someone is subsequently stretchered off, just get the ball clear. Second goal, odd decisions from Rovers defenders, starting with McGill who for the first time put a foot wrong for us, however, wasn't helped out by his centre backs who just didn't want to get the ball clear.

Well done to Vaughan, two very well taken goals and pulled us out of the fire there, the spirit to keep going infront of a great crowd again.

Bizarre game.  As much as it wasn't fun seeing Queens Park with so much of the ball second half we were pretty comfortable, but it did feel like we thought the hard stuff was already done and that we'd hit them on the counter at some point.  Then Kev decides to make a complete of arse of things and we reverted to the Rovers of old and lost all sense of composure and made yet more arse ups to give them a second.

Without doubt, last season that would have been game over, or we'd have went on to concede again.  But this team seem to have something about them now, helped by the fact we actually have talent on the bench to bring on when things are going bad.

But that ending was mental.  Crazy to think we're joint top with 10 points and arguably we haven't really played well in any game so far this season.
