Hairy Lemon is a great pub, good few just of Grafton Street and up towards St Stephens Green defo worth a look. Think I seen someone else post about this, or else it was on another road, but the signage had me seething. When I joined it, its 15 miles to the airport. Drove for about 10 mins at 70, then come to a sign that says Airport 11. Seething. We've always had white marks on a few bricks in an internal red brick wall but they've they have become more widespread. I had that at the Mull of Kintyre, reached a junction with a sign saying Campbeltown 8 miles pointing left and Cambelltown 3 miles pointing right. So turned right and ended up on a nightmare of a single track, cliff top, roller coaster road, 30 minutes later I was still on it, finally got to Campbeltown and mentioned the sign to the barman and he just laughed and said the 3 miles is actually 13 but the local kids keep covering up the 1 for a laugh. 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I was selling my old house, I spent a couple of minutes just before viewing time scrubbing it off with a hard brush. House sold no probs. Saved me about 20 minutes travelling up at night, at least half an hour when travelling home around lunch time. I noticed the signs heading towards the airport were a bit dodgy but at least the road's finally open.
