18BAIRN76
Aye I'd like to see a more experienced striker come in or someone with at least a moderate record of bagging a few, even if not exactly prolific. That might be more likely via the loan market as August progresses.
Springfield
Underwhelmed, just hoping that a far more experienced CF is adddd. Edited August 1, 2022 by Springfield
FalkirkBairn2021
Welcome new striker. I have immediately decided he's a 25 a season man and will lead us to league and Cup glory.
Tea and Busquets
This screams when of when we signed Sammy last year.
ShaggerG
Strikes me that they're clutching at straws a bit. McGlynn even admits that all of they've seen of him are 'bits & pieces'.

I’m comparing him with the last two English strikers we signed and also comparing him to one of the last decent strikes we signed from England. bairn88
Never heard of him and hasn’t scored many/any professional goals, but both of those apply to Jaze Kabia, who I thought was quality. Praying he’s another of those…

Its clear from them though that’s he’s purely there as a squad player so I’d assume their are other strikers in the pipeline.

Came on at Palmerston and looked sharp with an assist (as i recall) and then disappeared for the majority of the campaign. Best of luck to him and hope he makes a significant contribution for you.
18BAIRN76
I would also like to point out before people come on and accuse folk of being negative; I have faith in McGlynn and will absolutely give this boy a chance - I'll be delighted if he goes onto bag a barrowload. But it is underwhelming on the face of it. We were rumoured to be in for the St Mirren boy who went to Airdrie last week, and if Pars do go onto sign Mochrie as is rumoured, it would be fair to even label things as becoming a little concerning.

The guy probably meant to compare him to two recent signings of young, English strikers we made - nothing to see here.
FalkirkBairn2021
Have to think Jaime Wilson goes out on loan again soon. Perhaps to The Moon FC. Edited August 1, 2022 by FalkirkBairn2021

Sgt Bilko
Boy might not have scored a professional goal but scored 14 in 32 for Boro under 23. Fingers crossed he can stay fit and find the net for us. A bit meh on the face of it, but hey expect the unexpected.

The key word in your post is rumours. Whether we like it or not our board have been very transparent in telling the fans about our lack of finances to strengthen the squad so any talk of Rooney etc is just stupidity.
18BAIRN76
Knowing our luck as he's on a one-year contract - he goes and bags 25 goals and fucks off for free
Dawson Park Boy
Maybe it’s a cheap deal like Will Vaulks to get him back up and running and in the shop window?
Anthony Fitzgerald
Hopefully not a massive chunk out of the budget. Very hard to be optimistic about this one. Hope to be proven wrong.
Springfield
Maybe we’re just worrying about nothing and the fact that three maybe four players signed (with injuries) points to us getting them in a loan deals, and a box of Caramel wafers heading in the opposite direction.
