Netan Sansara
This thread reminded me of Deepti Gurdasani who was a big name. Let’s see what she’s up to…oh kicking about in a £800 face mask to avoid covid.

I can't believe she was seen as a credible scientist during COVID years and she would still have us in lockdown or wearing £1000 respirators / facemasks and only socialising outside. She definitely needs some mental health help it seems from what I see posted on here / Twitter.

Like I said during the lockdown, some of these people don't seem to realise that everyone of us literally risks our life every day in one form or another. If people were this anal about everything else they would never get in a car
Leith Green
Without being disrespectful to anyone who lost a loved one................and I know some of this is a statutory requirement, but it all feels a bit drawn out and unnecessary (not just up here, but in England as well)? The relatives are going to learn nothing new as all the politicians have covered their arses Again, without being unkind, a lot of people in care homes may have died of something else like flu Nobody will go to jail as a result of their ineptitude The only people who will make money are - as usual - the legal profession. I did some work in the (big) house of a KC, and she was on this inquiry (via zoom or teams) full time, doubtless on a rate no less than £500 a day. All that is going to happen is that we learn our leaders made mistakes, say that they would have done it differently, and promise not to do it again - all at a cost of hundreds of millions to taxpayers. Did I mention I think its a waste of time?
Aubrey Maturin
I think it's important to have a public record that shows them for the duplicitous liars they are. Who can forget the whole follow the science narrative except for when it fitted their agenda. The bizarre tier system that was ignored when it didn't suit their agenda. The damage their decisions made to the education of kids in this country. The damage done to people's mental health. The grinding to a halt of the NHS which will never catch up. The damage done to businesses especially in the hospitality sector. The patronising lies we were told time after time by idiots like Leitch and Devi. An absolute shambles and to round it off they've deleted all their messages. Pathetic.

But its frustrating that we appear to need to spend millions (probably hundreds of millions) to rubber stamp what you just said. see also - Edinburgh Trams inquiry (which, again, just told us what we already bloody knew !).

Aye, you are probably right. No doubt a chunk of the Edinburgh legal profession will be looking to buy another weekend property in Elie, or maybe a ski chalet from the profits. Fucking leeches.* *takes note to up hourly rate when working for lawyers......................
