Fandance your way to destruction with Robin and Marijn. QP were awful today - slow, predictable, insipid. We really couldn't have complained if Dunfermline had scored four or five. I thought having both Healy and Hepburn in the starting lineup was a mistake, leaving us very weak in midfield. Alarm bells are ringing loud and clear and there really needs to be a massive improvement in the Ayr game next Friday. I thought Louis Longridge was great today and at least Veldman didn't hook him for some 17 year old, so maybe he's learning.

Louis was my man of the match today, and tbf I think he has played well all season.

Lewis McCann > Dom Thomas. Simple as that.

Good performance from us, well worth the win. Unlucky not to have scored before we did. McCann and Summers were excellent, as were the whole back line.

Queens Park on the other hand were awful and offered nothing. We were never in any real danger of conceding. Thought our defence and keeper dealt with everything without really breaking sweat.

Hard to tell from a mile away, but thought their player was very lucky not to see red for the challenge on Edwards. Defender targeting McCann and launching his elbow at him a minute later was a clear red card offence. Referee dealt with the incident very poorly.

Just listened to McPake’s interview. Queens Park manager refused to shake hands with him at the end, sounds like shitebag behaviour from a petulant wee tit.

Hopefully Veldman refused to do a post match interview for QPTV as well so we don’t have to listen to his pish

That's a bit odd for a manager new to the country. Doesn't sound like there were too many contentious incidents that he could have been annoyed by, unless our bench have said something about the lack of red cards?

Genuinely can’t think of anything that would have upset him. We picked up a few bookings for challenges near the end, but nothing malicious and certainly nowhere near as violent as the challenges their players were booked for.

On the day, we were the better team and seemed to control the majority of the game. Honestly have no idea why their manager would refuse to shake hands. It just sounds like he’s acted like a spoilt wee child who can’t take a defeat.

Wasn't at the game unfortunately, great win.

Was it a 4-3-3? And any improvement from MOH?

3-4-1-2

Comrie played RCB, with O’Halloran at RWB. Took a while for me to work out the system. Summers in behind Wighton and McCann.

O’Halloran was fine. Had good bits of play at times, without being outstanding. Certainly did nothing wrong and had some promising bits of play.

Summers and McCann were our standouts. Kept finding lots of space in good areas. Wait until you see that second goal too. Incredible from Lewis.

Think that’s the best I’ve seen O’Halloran this season. Think he was being played as a RWB. Didn’t put a foot wrong and was always helping back as well as getting us up the pitch.

We were very worthy of that today, and actually unfortunate it wasn’t more. Think 2-0 flattered QP in all honesty. Every player played well today, but think McCann has got to be given MOTM for the goals, as well as playing extremely well. Shoutout to Summers, who looks a level above, but maybe just a wee bit raw: at times he was trying to take on one extra player that’ll just muscle him off the ball. Apart from that, phenomenal stuff from the young boy.

That today was with about 6 guaranteed starters out as well. We’ve looked more than capable at this level every game this season, which just shows how good the whole group is.

Also said the Raith game was the best football we’ve played this season which is up there with some of Peter Grant’s wildest shouts 😂

If we can follow this up with a win vs Morton next week then that’s 11 points from six games and an excellent start.

There looked like a bit of an argument between the two after the 'red' incident, with Veldman appearing briefly in the Pars technical area, but nada to warrant the lack of handshake

He was good. Threatening and won the free kick for McCanns 30 yard screamer*

*Awaits to see quality of goalie at the free kick.

Someone kindly recorded it. Needs more “that’s nivvir ten yairds..” but an otherwise classic.
