I'm sure Peers scored on his debut at East Stirling but he barely featured after that. Who knows if that was down to lack of ability or a bad attitude. Maybe a bit of both. 

He wasn't a loan though, I'm sure he was a permanent signing.

Are you seriously unaware of the tourist magnet Kirkcaldy is becoming?

Once they revamp Volunteers Green, I reckon they'll need to demolish the multi storey car parks and build two skyscraper hotels to accommodate demand.

In a couple of seasons we'll be like Manchester and Liverpool where we're selling package deals to tourists including flight, accommodation and match ticket. Definitely.

Peers was definitely the guy who came from Liverpool. According to Willie Gray and McGoon, he'd set up the lion's share of Michael Owen's goals at the Liverpool youth academy and within weeks we'd have forgotten all about Nacho Novo.

Peers began his footballing career at Liverpool in 2001. He left for Raith Rovers in 2003. Peers got off to a good start at Raith by scoring on his debut[1] but was to make only another 4 appearances before leaving Scotland early in 2004.

That was Graham Fyfe I think. A winger who I think was on loan from Celtic.

Hawley's second loan with us seen us also loan midfielder Craig Stanley from Walsall during the Calderón period.

I remember Stanley getting a really painful elbow injury in a game. Was a solid if unspectacular player with us.

You are correct with that. I always thought he was from Liverpool but I was obviously confused between him and peers at the time.

That is correct, was on loan to us in February 2001 and played 8 games scoring 4 goals before going back south but returned in November and played 15 games and scored only once and was released at the end of the season.
