SirJimmyofNic
Even a draw next week with 3 home games on the bounce to follow, would be acceptable, but we can win it

Yes, a win would be lovely for us... United NEED to win. So much pressure on United for next week. Let's see how they do. There's certainly a bit of pressure on us. It's the best chance to win this league for over a decade and for who knows how long. People need to forget about it being United, the chance here is absolutely huge.
Pride of Fife
Prospect of losing to and dropping 4pts behind your title rivals with 5/6 games left doesn’t equal no pressure to me! Both teams will be feeling it, just hope we cope better with it than them
embow
I wonder if the gaffer and/or Mickey were afforded the customary complimentary ticket to be able to watch the game and next week's opposition in action? Nah! I wouldnae think so either
Broken Algorithms
Still maintaining we're playing with house money. Great opportunity, no doubt but nobody expected this back in August. We've played over half the games this season with a centre mid as a deputy centre back. Ridiculous position to be in.
FitbaSupporter
Still feels like a shot to nothing for us. Absolutely no fear next week.

philpy
I'm beginning to think the league title is like the local slapper.... nobody cares about it but it still gets passed around every week..
The Toun Clock
Can see Raith going to Tannadice next week, picking up three points and as a result getting a finger on the title. They lose next week and they’ll implode.
Irosshed and I was wrong
Got feeling whoever doesn’t fall over the line and win the title will implode in the playoffs.

Bigmouth Strikes Again
Win or bust for both teams really, 2nd place won't get either of you up. Think if you can beat them here (and they are nervous wrecks at home) then the league is yours.

I remember the season we finished second to Ayr and then lost home and away to Alloa in the first play-off..
SerieA
What an opportunity we have….roll on next Saturday. We have missed a couple of opportunities recently but hopefully take this one. We need kick them when they’re down.

Nah, the possibility of falling 4 points behind and missing the chance to go clear with a game in hand is massive. I get the point many think Raith didn't expect to be where they are but now that they are slipping up will hurt.

Was that no the year we played Alloa home last game, drew 0-0, there were people walking round the side of the pitch to the north stand 15 mins after KO and Vaughan had the chance to win the game and league for us but hit the post with the last kick of the ball? We then played Alloa again in the play offs the subsequent Tuesday and Saturday and they humped us? 2018 IIRC. Pressure is definitely going to be mostly on Utd as It’s as a must win game at home, anything else and it’s out of their hands. Losing for us on paper isn’t a disaster but as you say psychologically falling 4 points behind even with a game in hand that’s far from certain we can win would be a bad blow. Even if we beat Airdrie we’d need to probably win all our remaining games and hope someone did us a favour. Definitely a different mindset between both sets of fans as Utd fans expected to stroll the league while we were hoping for a playoff place. Losing the league at this late stage would obviously be gutting (see Arbroath v Killie season) but it certainly wouldn’t be the nuclear fallout that will happen at Tannadice if they balls it up.
pub car king
If the match is level going into the last 10 minutes then we can afford to dig in for a point. Dundee United have to throw everything at us to get the win. If we win and it's a massive If. There will be a major heads gone at Tannadice.
