Rover the Moon
United can’t really save face from here. If they double down then they look petty and tinpot in the eyes of the vast majority; if they back down then they look weak. PR disaster for them.

CountryBumpkin
Evidentally if you say the word tinpot enough, Dunfermline fans appear. Brilliant.

spot on
I read somewhere that it looks like they have kept the 6 front rows full length free and not selling tickets for them hence the 600 shortfall of tickets. Wonder how their long list of creditors feel seeing the club turn down money that they could be paying back to some of them Edited March 21 by spot on

Double Jack D
Pleasing that the neutral viewpoint on this is that Dundee United are absolutely shiting themselves about this game. Word on the street is that you have to have an existing account to buy home end tickets and new accounts are not being permitted to prevent Rovers fans buying tickets in the home end. The obvious side effect being a deterrent to casual/ neutral fans attending the Championship game of the season. Think we'll see the word "tinpot" a lot on this thread.

Lose revenue for 1200 seats. Gain no advantage. Tinpot stuff

eez-eh
The number of Old Firm fans jumping on this ticket fiasco to make it about themselves is the worst thing about this.
lellywong
Sounds like DU are shiting themselves re a 2000 rovers crowd, why?? Surely whatever the outcome of the game they are making money from us watch this space to see another load of tickets miraculously appear

Could copy and paste that for every single thing in Scottish football. Its the Scottish version of Godwin's Law.

The main reason fans from other clubs in this league think Rovers are a shower of entitled bams is your snidey social media that you all think is hilariously clever when in fact it's actually not. Snide into the weekend...... Etc -
chris1883
3 games played. 2 Rovers Wins. 1 Draw. 0 United wins. How come so many of the United fans keep rolling out the "we've been unlucky" cart? With those stats, that's not unlucky. Even if United win this match (and we know United's stile - ), their win rate against us would be 25% - which is atrocious.

Snide into the weekend...... Etc I suppose funny means different things to different people. You seem obsessed with the social media side of things. Either A) you are at it and just a wind up merchant. Or B) A 4 second clip from a game that didn’t even involve your club has really got under your skin for whatever reason. There is a lot worse than footage of a slide tackle being put on social media. What would you like from Raith? A grovelling apology? Or a header at the top of the clip saying “no goalies were harmed in the making of this clip” And let’s face it, had that been Todd on Debrowski, you would have been lapping it up because as football fans we are all hypocrites.
