Enigma
Hope we don't get 3,900.
donny86
Think it's scaremongering to be honest, we won't get less than 6,000 but it will get the floating fans off their backsides to a couple of games
Yoss
It might have that additional benefit, but primarily it'll be an attempt to make sure as many of our tickets as possible are sold to Raith fans.
roverthemoon
All seems fair. Ensures that people who go regularly get priority for tickets as well. I've got a season ticket so I'm sure I'll be guaranteed priority too. More importantly it will stop Rangers fans snapping up tickets, or at least if they do they'll be handing us at least £28 for the privilege. Sensible move by the board. Even if it's just 3,900 tickets then every Raith fan who makes the effort will get one.

Beachbum
Did I miss where it says the ticket prices? Good point. Why would you want a priority voucher for a game that might cost, say, £30?
Double Jack D
Good move which should ensure that fans that go week in week out will be guaranteed a ticket.
Beachbum
Good move which should ensure that fans that go week in week out will be guaranteed a ticket. It's not a good move by the board. There are only 4 days until the first of those 3 games and still there is no indication of the cost of entry for the final.

CALDERON
This isn't an announcement about ticketing arrangements, so why do you expect to see prices?
liam_barnett
This isn't an announcement about ticketing arrangements, so why do you expect to see prices? Didn't say that I did, just a figure was mentioned by roverthemoon when there has no such communication regards prices.
Raithie
Didn't say that I did, just a figure was mentioned by roverthemoon when there has no such communication regards prices. I think he was alluding to the fact you have to pay to get into the home game(s) meaning the club will scoop potentially 34 sheets* to guarantee a supporter a ticket for the final. *using adult admission price.

Yep this, although for some reason I thought 17 & 17 was 28. Apologies
Fotbawmad
If I get the priority vouchers, will I be able to buy multiple tickets for the final?
roverthemoon
I don't think the club can go wrong here. If you go pretty regularly then making 2 out of those three games will be no bother at all. If you don't go regularly then you can't really complain about not being given priority as let's face it those who have season tickets or who go regularly do deserve priority over you - plus the club have still given you the option of turning up to just two games to be guaranteed priority. Even at 3,900 tickets pretty much every semi-committed Raith fan will get to the game. If there really is a mad scramble for tickets then the voucher schemes will give those who attend regularly or are willing to get along to two games priority. It will also hopefully weed out any Sevco bams and make the club some money hopefully. Win win all round
philpy
Right, so what about folk that stay further afield that work 2 Saturdays out of 4, like myself??
CALDERON
Good luck in the general sale.

Scary Bear
Right, so what about folk that stay further afield that work 2 Saturdays out of 4, like myself?? Obviously you are a part-timer. No ticket for Philpy! Seriously, as someone else said, every semi-committed Rovers fans should manage to get a ticket if we get 4000 tickets.
Scary Bear
Expect mass uproar from the season-ticket holding superfans here. The way they mention "limited guaranteed allocation of tickets" in that article suggests to me we're being given a stand behind the goal, which both hold about 3,900, with the scope for an overflow in the main stand there if we need/want it. Overall, a good ploy to reward regular supporters and you never know, it might even get a few more people along to our next few matches. No uproar required. Us superfans with season tickets will obviously get preference over the occasional fans.
