Airdrie with 4 players in the PFA team of the season including two defenders despite shipping 51 goals this season. 😂

Airdrie having as many players in the team of the season despite losing 10 times as many league games is absolutely wild 😂 😆.

It has absolutely zero credibility.

It's the players that vote for it too.  Airdrie boys must be voting for themselves.

I’m not even convinced Nesbitt gets in our strongest 11, never mind a League One strongest 11.

There's a few i'd have had in that side before him, Wighton, Kennedy, Chalmers, McGinn to name a few, and you'd have thought Alloa might have had at least one player in it seeing as they made the playoffs.

He’s probably like Grealish……..an affable smiling guy that everybody likes, and will get votes based purely on that. As for performances, that probably doesn’t matter too much (just like Grealish).

He’s capable of the occasional brilliant performance so I can see why other players will have chosen him. Issue for us is it’s 1 of those in 10 at best.

I thought Keith Hogg would have been there at the time in his first spell before going to Hearts.

To be fair KH isn't football admin so most likely would be unaware of squad numbers - especially the younger ones I'd guess.

It's an administrative error that needs rectified and not repeated.

He’s the operations manager. He should have oversight of it. It’s his department.

Sorry, but that's not true. He's in charge of the groundstaff and stadium operations. His role covers things like maintenance, security, match safety, liaison with FCSL etc, etc. He has no input whatsoever into football matters.

Now that it's been highlighted on here I'm sure it will be fixed and added to the "important things to know about the job" manual for the next football ops guy and / or kitman.
