renton
Eh,because he may not actively seek alternatives until such time as they pair have made their minds up.read about it frequently clubs offering contracts and giving a signing deadline, not signed by the given time contract lifted off table .for some unknown reason murray seems to determined to sign both Luckily, Murray doesn't seem the type. Given that we are actively looking at other players, and given that from what we know of last year, he's happy to offer contracts to a lot of folk and then take the best one who says yes. It seems highly unlikely that he's sitting by his phone praying for Greig Spence to ring him.
kev23
Can only imagine we aren't offering Anderson enough money for his liking and/or he is hoping for a move to another team in our division? He doesn't seem a player who could make the step up and I doubt he'd be wanting to take a step down. Especially when the Championship is the way it is this year. Personally think he's a very decent player in our league with his pace and ability in the air but he's very limited and we seem to be his level. Can't really understand why he wouldn't have signed back up
donny86
Anderson had agreed a deal verbally, then came back asking for some sort of addition to his contract, not sure what it was or if it's resolved
P.C
If we can keep Anderson in the squad for next season its a massive plus for us. With the budget we have other than getting players on loan we wont attract a player with the same amount of pace/physicality in that role, I know people slate his crossing at times but he is a good player and his height has been a real asset With the squad we are assembling there is a hell of a lot of height in it. Not that its a bad thing, if we can get Conroy signed up for our set pieces we will cause teams a lot of problems. Suppose the big thing now is getting a solid left back and a poacher with a bit of pace
Ding Dang Doo
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2661869/Barnsley-sign-Kane-Hemmings-Cowdenbeath-bid-bounce-Championship.html This "exciting" signing isn't going to be Hemmings anyway...not that it ever was! On another note Danny Grainger has just returned from holiday and has said he's looking forward to the next chapter in his career. So might well tie in with our announcement of a new defender...or I've put 2+2 together and made 10.
Beachbum
Others have hinted at Rory McKeown as the left back. He played against us in Cowden's 2-1 win in April and scored a great goal. About 1 min 45 in. Edited June 19, 2014 by Beachbum
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
I don't know how Grainger was throughout the season but he was woeful against Cowden in the playoffs. Would Rovers fans be happy with him signing?

Ro Sham Bo
Based on very limted experience of both I'd rather we signed McKeown. His throw in could be a handy weapon with big Nade up front.
Broken Algorithms
I'd rather have McKeown than Grainger. Grainger looked like an utter fanny bursting into tears after being relegated with the Pars after the massive total four months or so. McKeown looked relatively impressive.

CowdenConvert
Might the throw in be the "something different?"Not just the throw in. He strikes a mean ball as well. Scored a cracker on his debut v Dundee. Suspect he could hit a dead ball but never got the chance to see it.
Enigma
Anderson had agreed a deal verbally, then came back asking for some sort of addition to his contract, not sure what it was or if it's resolved Think it was a goals from backward headers bonus.

Suspect he could hit a dead ball but never got the chance to see it. If we signed Conroy, then I'd imagine he'd be on our free kicks and penalties. That said, the more the merrier! Whats he like in terms of going forward? Last season we were spoiled at times by having Booth who had bags of pace and would overlap Cardle to cause problems. Sadly, it happened less during the second half of the season. In order of preference, I'd take Booth, then McKeown, with both miles ahead of Grainger.
T-zero
Fraser mullin any good?
renton
Fraser mullin any good? Was ok, without being anything special. Decent defensively as a right back and also played centrla midfield for us a few times. Solid rather than spectacular. Should do well if he's dropping down to league 2.
Broken Algorithms
Fraser mullin any good? Never benefitted from playing right back enough to tell. We had defensive issues and he came in pretty much on the basis of trying to fit a round hole with a square peg. He'll be more than good enough for league 2 level.
