The New Raith Rovers Thread

Recommended Posts

See Rovers' donkey at the back M'Voto has appeared in SPFL team of the week again after the weekend.

He really has been excellent for us. Probably Locke's most consistent signing.

Re sign him Gary, you know it makes sense

It doesn't say he's employed by the club as the official match analyst. The wording is he is now helping as match analyst and trying to plot the downfall of Cathro's side. Link

I read a few months back that Brown did a bit of scouting opponents for us.

Was it cancelled? Not surprised the OS didn't have photos showing how well it was attended.

Someone on fantalk posted that it was cancelled but not seen anything elsewhere.

Hmm no mention of being places or doing things though. Maybe Broon helps him out

Billy Brown was at our game on Saturday. Presumably he was watching Dumbarton for you.

Didnt realise Andy had joined you. Good guy, hope it goes well for him. He was our performance analyst under James Fowler and then match scout watching next week's opponents under Gavin Skelton but left when Gary Naysmith brought his own guys with him when he took over.

Billy Brown scouts upcoming opponents in the traditional manner by attending games and reports back to the coaching team.

Slight misinterpretation of that as being an analyst, but heyho....

Andy T provides computer analysis of those opponents using footage shared by other clubs. He also uses Rovers own footage to analyse our players performance following all games.

I know La-la Land is popular just now but what about this quote in todays Courier. Locke said: “Rudi went on because he is the one player in the squad who is always capable of getting a goal". How many is that now for Rovers?

The same Rudi who hasn't scored since the 15th of December 2012? The mind boggles, who does he think he's fooling with that statement?!

What the actual? That'll encourage the rest of our shot shy attack eh? "He's the one player..." Apart from the fact it's utter pish.
